What I think is currently wrong with the MedTech Industry
A brief morning walk as I ponder a question I was asked last week:
"So what do you think is wrong with the medtech industry. Specifically why are so many of the big companies struggling?"My own personal opinions - Agree? Disagree? - let me know...
One more point which you highlighted , the leaders want to portray a positive picture to the investors which in reality is the opposite. Politically corrupt people who want to build and progress a career in leadership positions , they dont really value people working for them. Have experience in dealing with reputed brands who has got multiple awards in ethical and compliant business practices but in reality these are the most corrupt companies. Nobody wants to talk the truth. Its all about topline and building investor confidence .

Very well analyzed and said. It is true most leaders are focussed on themself and not the objectives of the company itself. No compassion towards patients, caregivers and not towards own team members. The toxic culture starts from the top and transferred to the bottom. End result, only focussed on revenue and no value addition to caregivers and patients alike.
